Avoid Unintentional Plagiarism

Plagiarism, the act of taking credit for someone else’s words, is often unintentional. Even top scholars can be  guilty of this. Author Doris Kearns Goodwin (Author of Team of Rivals) committed accidental plagiarism in her book The Fitzgeralds & the Kennedys by neglecting to attribute some research to another author.  The website of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library features an excellent set of pointers.
